“Al Cavallino Bianco” restaurant - where the D'Alesio family has been offering courtesy and good cuisine for the last fifty years - is set in the historical Esquilino district dating back to the time of Umberto I and within walking distance of the Colosseum. The warm and cosy environment is characterized by a wood-burning oven for the perfect pizza and by a wood-burning grill where savoury Danish, Chianina or national beef can be barbecued and served with wine nectar. Our clients also appreciate our restaurant for the exquisite and tasty "paranza" fish served, ( a mixture of trawl-net fish like codfish, red mullet, shrimps, anchovies, curled octopus, "ficassuages": variety of soles) either grilled or oven cooked. A white grand piano breaks the succession of rooms. Live music can be arranged on request. The restaurant can seat up to 160 persons. It has a private room for weddings, surprise....birthday parties... and a smaller room where guests can savour a refreshing aperitif before a formal dinner or where we can organize short work meetings followed by a relaxing dinner amongst colleagues.
